I was almost at this game. I went to the middle game of the Brewers/Yankees series. I wish I went to this game, but I had three semester exams the next day, so we got tickets to te middle game instead.

But honestly. What's more important? Baseball history or some lousy exams?

Anyway, to the rest of my site....

I hate the Boston Red Sox, and I love the Yankees. So I've got myself a website, and I will prove it to the world! or at least the thirty or so people that visit my site every month.

Why, oh why would anyone want to become a Yankee fan? those pitiful Bosox faithful ask. Why would you want to root for a team who wins? Why oh why oh why?

You either love or hate the New York Yankees. Nobody is apethetical when it comes to the winningest franchise in sports history. You love 'em or hate 'em.

Most people around me hate them. Mention the Yankees, the Yankees suck. They hate the Yankees, they hate and hate them their kids hate them and even the family dog hates the New York Yankees.

Naturally, that means that I love 'em. I love the history. I love how they come through in the clutch. I love the fact that George Steinbrenner puts money back into the team instead of into his own pocket.

Yankee news (Along with my two cents)

Here I will post Yankee news, and my opinion on what is happening. I will actually write my own news stories, because I've always wanted to do that. There will also be some editorials, and even comments from the idiots who root for Bawston.

(I love this article. It's an oldie, but a goodie. And the best part is, that when you type in "Cooper the Keeper" on google, this comes up. A "true" fan, having your name on a Yankee website. Way to go Coop!)

Red Sox Fan Says Aaron Boone is “Hot”

FORT ATKINSON (Victor the Goat) -- Cooper the Keeper officially joined the Red Sox Nation Shit List with her comments the morning of December 30, 2004. On the phone with friend and Yankee fan Victor the Goat (that's me) the conversation turned to the 2003 ALCS and especially Game 7.

"We got on the subject of Boone, and all of a sudden she (Cooper) says ‘He’s hot.’ I was shocked,” Goat says, then proceeded to ask Cooper for an explanation of the comment.

“Bosox fans don’t say anything nice about Aaron Boone,” Goat explains, following the incident. “It just doesn’t happen.”

Cooper then asked Goat for her opinion on the issue.

“I thought he looked hot running the bases after that home run,” Goat admits. “Of course, I was more concerned with winning the pennant.”

Cooper was not available for comment following the incident, as Goat’s mom would not get off the phone so Goat could use it.

I have two friends who root for the Bosox, and to get them to keep visiting my site (and maybe to convert them into intelligent human beings), I am leaving this spot of my website for the Bosox fans of the world to post their uninformed opinions. Note that I did not write this crap, but it's cool to laugh at morons. So we'll let them write crap, then laugh at it.
